Sales are to companies only. Each work is presented and hand-delivered by us at your premises. A non-refundable deposit of 10% secures the work, refunded in full if the work is not authentic or not as described. The balance must clear at least two working days before delivery, and ownership passes on handover.

Some pictures are meant to be passed in a corridor. These are meant to be lived with.

AvaTayana is a small collection of thirty-six works, arranged as six series of six. Each series follows one feeling: stillness, restoration, being seen, solitude, belonging and awe. Each work is made once, printed once and framed once, for the person who will keep it.

There is no basket here and nothing to add to it. Works are shown by private viewing at your company's premises, at a time that suits you, with as much time as you would like to spend with them.

They are small on purpose. A4 at most, they ask you to come close.

What each work is

Every work is described in the same plain terms, on every page and on its certificate:

Each image was conceived and directed by AvaTayana Studio and created using AI generative software, then selected, refined and colour-finished through the studio’s own decisions. It is printed a single time as an archival pigment print, and accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.

It is not a painting and not a traditional hand-pulled print. We say so clearly, because the way a work is made matters to the person who owns it.

How the works are made

Six series

  1. I. Threshold

    Fields of black, bronze and cream light. The stillness of standing at the edge of something larger.

  2. II. Verdigris

    Patina, fern, lichen and river. Calm attention, and belonging to a living world.

  3. III. Sitters

    Invented faces that meet your gaze. The experience of being seen.

  4. IV. Small Hours

    A lit window, an empty chair, a lamp on a page. Solitude that is chosen and gentle.

  5. V. Keepsakes

    Seals, pressed flowers, a coin, an unsent letter. The things we hand on.

  6. VI. Meridian

    Horizons, night seas and skies. Awe, and the relief of feeling small.

One of one, recorded

Each work comes with a signed certificate of authenticity that records its title, catalogue number, medium, dates and materials, and confirms that it is unique.

After a viewing

If a company decides to buy, the next steps are unhurried and clear.

  1. Information first. Before the company agrees to anything, we give our terms of sale in writing, to keep.
  2. Company checks. We check the company at Companies House, and we check identity and sanctions, before a contract.
  3. A signed invoice in the company's name. If the company decides to buy, we send an invoice in the company's name. At purchase the company pays a non-refundable deposit by bank transfer. The final balance is paid by bank transfer before the work is released. The payment comes from the company's own bank account. This website does not take a card payment.
  4. Presentation. Each work is presented and handed over in person at your premises by AvaTayana. The work the company inspects at the viewing is the finished, framed work we hand over.
